The food here is absolutely delicious!!! We celebrated our friends’ baby’s birthday in a private room and it was fantastic. From the cold appetizers to the main entrees and everything in between, plus the hot chrysanthemum tea, everything was great, and also 100% approved by a Shanghainese friend. I would recommend and come back.

It’s hard to find authentic Shanghai cuisine in the Los Angeles area, but after tasting it today, I found there is no difference with what I had in Shanghai. In fact, the quality of the ingredients might even better that of Shanghai, making the flavors even more delicious. I also really like the decor here and the service staff, which all strongly reflect the essence of Shanghai.

I came here for the weekday special—all small, medium, and large dimsum are $4.99 each. I honestly was surprised by the quality of the food and can say this is some of the best dim sum I’ve had in the 626. I really enjoyed the egg tarts and the black pepper ribs. There’s a ton of seating inside the restaurant. The outside might look a little janky but the food is good.
